The newest attraction for the summer at the Columbus Zoo is Dinosaur Island. Dinosaurs seem to be a big thing lately. There was an attraction last year at Cedar Point when we were there and I saw something about Dinosaurs at King's Island. With out the boat ride, I would have been pretty disappointed. I will say it's something we probably won't spend the money on it again (It was $2 for zoo members).
Zoey liked the dinosaurs at Cedar Point last year, but she was scared of the ones at the zoo. It was pretty surprising because nothing really seemed to scare her before this. It seemed to be the sounds they made that bothered her the most, but she also didn't like the dinosaur they just had sitting there to take photos with. We basically had to force her through the path to the boat ride once she saw the first dinosaur. She was fine as the boat ride first started and liked going through the mist, but again once she saw the first dinosaur she started crying. Scott ended up covering her eyes the majority of the ride.
